Shure SRH 440

Short Review of the Shure SRH 440 Fieldrecording and Studio Headphones

Recording in the fields very often means you have to compromise, most of all because of a huge array of uncontrollable circumstances like weather, ambient noise or stuff like that. The more ‘smog’ there is around the, the more control you should get.

It’s very importat to hear what you record and how it sounds like. I personally prefer the Shure SRH 440 for jobs like this. Why?

PRO

  • neodymium drivers
  • 10 – 22.000 Hz
  • up to 105 dB/V
  • 500 mW
  • very clear and transparent sound
  • very linear (also important for mixdown)

CON

  • ( ? )

So after all this headphones give you the full control of whatever you record or mix for today around 100€ – great, great deal!
